I've been using MOAB which people use to make their marijuana flower and it produces crazy amounts of flowers. i use a teaspoon every 2 weeks. the issue i am having is that it's getting too hot here in the san gabriel valley which is causing some of me DF to sunburn

Awesomeness! I have top dressed twice this summer and have got almost 50 blooms. My issue is, none of them take. All but 1 have aborted on 4 different plants. I have tried cross pollinating with no difference. My varieties are natural mystic, American beauty and a yellow flesh. 😢

bro camera man! back up and show the whole dang plant we are talking about! why does that always happend? they always show a close up of a flower but never the whole plant in its entirety!

We live in Jerusalem and ours' is 6 years old. It grows at least ten feet tall so needs a vigorous pruning in the late fall. This year we have at least 500 plums! One thing that is a nuisance is that we lose about 5 to 10% to bugs and birds pecking the fruit. But much more successful than our apricot tree. It produced about 8 wormy fruit. It's hung a medfly trap on the both trees but didn't seem to help.

We live in Monroe Washington and have one of these plants growing in our cedars. Amazing to watch it mature.

The more people start growing and selling Dragon Fruit, the more popular it will become, but eventually the market will have a huge amount of competition and prices will be low eventually. We're in the beginning of a Dragon Fruit boom so to speak as far as new varieties and it becoming popular and people growing it here in the U.S. Citrus is having a lot of issues right now and all it will take is a few Citrus growers to start growing Dragon Fruit and make a killing and word will spread, more will switch/transition to Dragon Fruit..... over the long term Citus will become more scarce and prices soar and Dragon fruit more available and lower prices. With poor and unethical modern Monocrop practices, these same commercial Citrus growers will use all kinds of chemicals and sprays and create new pests and disease for Dragon Fruit that currently do not exists, the same way they did to Citrus. Just a matter of time. Watch, same thing will happen to Dragon Fruit, it will be irresponsibly grown, exploited for a time, and eventually destroyed.

Great info as always. You've got the best real world advice. Nic and I have come to a lot of the same conclusions on things. ~Don't worry too much about specific nutrients as long you have them there. ~Drainage focused soils with top dressed organic matter. ~Solving a lot of bacterial or viral problems by attacking the deficiency and physically treating only if needed like the seaweed extract I think you had or more silica to help cell walls be more impervious. The yard is filling up though!

Is the cactus supposed to be Brown at the bottom like yours mine is doing the same thing and it's also Brown on the tips should I be worried do I need to repot?

I’m letting my pots dry out I tripped all my budding pots and hit with high phohsporhous then when whey dry ima give them a good soak with a. High phosphorous fetlizer again I think my plants need the solstice

I'm not a fan of the fruit, but it is a beautiful tree. I planted mine not knowing too much about them, but now about 12 years later, it is about 15 feet tall. Loads of fruit and never have fertilized. Enjoy your Dragon Fruit videos, and have just started a mini orchard with 8 pots.

It has been a year. I have 7 varieties. They did well only 1-2 months of spring. Rest of the summer & winter, they just grow very thin branches. Feeling like giving up. Here winter are decent, but summer is very hot upto 115F. But I have nice shade on all plants. They don't get sun burn, but they don't grow well either.
